Welcome to Revitalise Reiki & Sound Bathing

Reiki is a method used for alleviating stress, promoting healing and is rooted in the concept of utilising a life force energy that moves through us. It’s inception dates back to the early 1900s and was introduced by a Japanese man named Mikao Usui. The term "reiki" is derived from the Japanese words "rei," signifying universal, and "ki," representing the essential life force energy present in all living beings. When an individual's Ki is elevated, they exude strength, confidence, and a genuine enthusiasm for life, enabling them to face any hurdles with ease. However, when their Ki is diminished, they may feel feeble and susceptible to illnesses. Reiki works by universal energy entering the body & re-balancing energy across the main 7 energy centers. This energy knows exactly where to go and how to respond to restrictions in the flow of Ki. In a session the individual lies on their back fully clothed with their eyes closed. Throughout a session, the Reiki practitioner gently lays their hands on the individual, or occasionally slightly above them, to channel energy to specific areas.

Using the Chakras & Reiki symbols

In a Reiki session, the practitioner usually spends around 5-10 minutes on each chakra, employing different hand positions and Reiki symbols to enhance the energy flow. By working with the chakra system, it aids in harmonizing and boosting the universal life force energy throughout the body. Reiki practitioners transfer this new energy through their hands, directing it towards specific chakras to support healing and foster a sense of overall well-being.
